Based in Houston, Texas, DRE Software, Inc. was founded in 2009 by current CEO Donald Hatter. Prior to forming DRE Software, Inc. Hatter was an accomplished sales, marketing, and business development professional that saw the need to reduce long and complex sales cycles, and make sales efforts more efficient and less costly. Hatter successfully sold software and services to companies such as Wal-Mart, ExxonMobil, Shell Oil, Waste Management, Johnson & Johnson, Texas Instruments, Visa, Administaff, Celanese Corporation, and many others. In doing so, he realized that many organizations struggle to capture, exchange, and truly leverage much of the information that exists about a prospect, client or partner during a sales cycle. The insight gained from those experiences led to Hatter forming DRE Software, and creating the Business Collaboration Network (BCN).
While consulting with companies on how to use collaboration software, it became apparent that more consultation was needed around this technology, and other technologies that companies used to communicate with clients and prospects.
In 2012 DRE Software changed its focus to provide an array of value added services to help clients face these existing challenges. With this approach, DRE can assist clients with developing an adequate strategy, selecting and managing vendors, and managing projects through to completion.
